International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar
TheInternational Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar ((ヒンディー語:अंतरराष्ट्रीय सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान भुवनेश्वर); IIIT-BH) is an information technology higher education and a unitary university institute located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It is one of the Institutes of national importance in Odisha. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Odisha. It is a University Grants Commission (India) (UGC) recognised Unitary Technical University. The campus is located in Gothapatna, Bhubaneswar. The campus houses classrooms, laboratories, library, hostel, faculty living quarters, sports facilities, and auditorium.

IIIT Bhubaneswar was initiated by the Government of Odisha and registered as a society in 2006.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=About the Institute — IIIT Bhubaneswar )〕 It started operating in September 2007.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=IIIT in Orissa to start operation from September, Orissa News — By Indiaedunews.net )〕 IIIT Bhubaneswar owes its origins to the initiative of the Government Odisha. In 2005, the then President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam laid down the foundation stone of the institute. It is a result of the desire of the Government to establish a world class institute of Information Technology in the state. The Institute has been registered as a society in 2006. The Management of the institute is in the hands of a Governing Body, consisting of representatives from the Government of Odisha, leaders from the IT industry and eminent educationists.
